Cookies & Local Storage

This site is cookieless — it sets no cookies of any kind, neither its own nor third-party. Because no cookies or non-essential trackers are used, no cookie-consent banner is required under the GDPR or the ePrivacy Directive.

The only thing stored in your browser is a single functional localStorage entry (privacy-notice-dismissed) that remembers you dismissed the privacy notice, so it isn't shown on every visit. It contains no personal data, is never sent to any server, and you can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Analytics

This site uses Umami — a cookieless, privacy-first analytics tool, which I run myself on the same server that serves this site, in Frankfurt, Germany. No cookies are set and no cross-site tracking is used. Visitors are identified only by a temporary hash derived from the incoming request with a salt that rotates daily, so individual browsing sessions cannot be reconstructed across sites or over time, and your IP address itself is not stored. Only anonymized, aggregated usage metrics (such as page views, referrer, approximate region, and device or browser type) are collected. Because the tool is self-hosted, this data reaches no third party at all.

Contact Form

When you submit the contact form, the name, email address, and message you provide are delivered to me as a message in a private Telegram group, so that I can read and reply to your message. This means the contents are processed by Telegram as part of that delivery. The data is used solely to respond to you and is not published, sold, or shared with any other third party.
